Education Administrator
Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for curriculum development, such as the summer program, winter program, and after-school program, with the aim of managing the students’ learning experience to ensure that the collective needs of the group and the individual students are met by curriculum.
  2. Participate in staff meetings, training, and planning cooperatives to determine the current educational needs of clients in order to gain a better understanding for future educational programs to be developed.
  3. Responsible for hiring, firing, evaluating, and managing Loving Tree Academy’s teaching and support staff.
  4. Ensure that the curriculum taught to students utilize the company’s strategies as well as give meaningful individual and small group education.
  5. Utilize various assessment tools such as observations and work samples to help determine the proper direction of future instructional curriculum decisions to be made, both for individuals and groups of students.
  6. Conduct program evaluations, make recommendations for modifications, and report directly to the director.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor degree in Child Development, Education or related field is required. Master degree is highly preferred.
  2. 1+year experience working with school age children is preferred.
  3. Familiar with established curriculum and professional development concepts.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  5. Must perform duties with moderate direction given, operating from established directions and instructions.
  6. Excellent communication skills. Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in both English and Mandarin.
  7. Passion for education and child development field.
  8. Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.
