Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily academic and enrichment activities for about fifteen students.

2. Teach students Chinese and other enrichment classes with the direction of our established curriculum.

3. Perform daily task and responsibilities as directed by Education Administrator and Director.

4. Participate in weekly staff meetings.

5. Assist in keeping all Afterschool spaces organized and operational.

6. Develop a nurturing, safe, respectful, multicultural learning environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree is required.

2. Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in both English and Mandarin.

3. Show good character and demonstrate a strong commitment to Loving Tree Academy’s core value.

4. Show the love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.

5. Have a basic understanding of child development and willing to grow in knowledge of child development.

6. Demonstrate strong teamwork spirit when working with volunteers or teaching assistant.

7. Maintain professional attitude at all times.

8. Use appropriate language in and out of the classroom.
